This Privacy Policy explains how Waymakers, accessible through the website waymakers.faith and the Waymakers mobile application (iOS & Android), collects, uses, and protects your data.

Waymakers is a non-profit Christian project created to provide prayer resources, Bible reading, and spiritual content.

By using the application or the website, you agree to this policy.

Data Collected Automatically

When you use the Waymakers app, certain technical data may be collected automatically:

  • Device information, including model, operating system, and language

  • Anonymous usage statistics

  • Performance data and crash reports

  • Notification token used to send push notifications

This data is collected through Firebase services , including Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, and Remote Config.

Generated Content

When you use the Prayer Generator, your prayer intention is sent to our AI system, provided by OpenAI, in order to generate a personalised prayer.
No information that directly identifies you is sent.

We only store the generated prayer so that it may be published on the website.

Use of Data

The data collected is used only to:

  • improve the operation of the application;

  • analyse overall usage anonymously;

  • send push notifications when new articles are published;

  • maintain the stability and security of the app.

We never sell your data.

We use third-party services only to ensure the proper operation of the app.

2. OpenAI

The application does not contain any advertising..

The waymakers.faith website may use technical cookies required for the normal operation of the site.
The mobile application does not use cookies.
